impressions from our Portugal holiday, September 2017
We started our journey at Faro where we picked up our rental car. The first few days we stayed at an Air Bnb in Faro to arrive and make plans for the upcoming days.
We then went to a small village called Vila do Bispo where we stayed at the most astonishing House ever. José and Maria have turned this old house into a warm an welcoming home to travellers who seek comfort and beauty. This turned out to be the perfect starting point for our daily adventures along the coast of Portugal.
Besides meeting our lovely hosts, we also got to know Luise and Mo, whom we spent an afternoon at the beach with. We took some pretty rad photos of these two, which you can look at over here. Luise and Mo originally are from Berlin but have now decided to move to Portugal together with their cat Anouk. We can't wait to visit them and this beautiful country again very soon.
Our personal tips for Portugal:
- get a rental car, there is so much to see and explore
- look out for beaches and don't settle for the first you see
- eat loads of pastel de nata
- don't forget your jumpers and beanies, it can get pretty windy
we also created a little video to capture our memories:
